devious Padma tried so hard not to be bitter. Of course her parents would call them home after what had happened. Her father had actually been recalled to India, and it was only natural that they'd pull the girls along for the ride as well.
That didn't mean she had to like it.
Parvati had ranted and raved, threatened her parents with extreme pouting and generally making things difficult once they were back to Juniper. But Padma wasn't acting out. She was plotting.
Getting her twin to go along for the ride would be the trick. But for now, she would silently pack her things, and go home.
For now.

But finally Parvati tired of this too, and after venting in her diary, she sought her sister out with a clear aim to discuss their mutual situation. "Pad, what are we going to do? We can't not return to Hogwarts in September. That would be be utterly horrible!"
